Good Samaritan Dies in Yonkers Highway and Drunk Driver on Saw Mill River Parkway
YONKERS, NEW YORK (July 16, 2022) – A good Samaritan tragically died in a Yonkers car accident on the Saw Mill River Parkway.
Yonkers police officials say the collision happened Friday morning. A good Samaritan stopped to help after a previous accident.
Unfortunately, the good Samaritan was hit by another car and fell to the ground. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to treat all victims.
Unfortunately, the good Samaritan died as a result of their injuries. Police arrested the driver who hit the victim on suspicion of DUI.
A full investigation into the collision is ongoing at this time.
